Western New England University seeks an experienced Head Groundskeeper to serve in our Facilities Department. This position performs a variety of duties that will include Grounds maintenance and repair, irrigation repair, plant design and installation. And full fill a lead role in the Snow removal procedures. Other essential duties may include completing projects and tasks with a front-end loader or Skid steer. Also mulching plant beds, over seeding turf grass, mowing and string trimming, pruning and trimming hedges and shrubs.

Qualifications:

  • Must have or able to obtain a Class 2C front-end loaders license.
  • Must have 2 years of landscape or grounds maintenance experience.
  • Must possess a Massachusetts driver's license.
  • Must have or able to obtain a Massachusetts pesticide license.
