The successful candidate is required to reside in New Jersey within one year of employment.

Duties: Reports to the Director of Special Education in cooperation with the Principal; provides specialized learning experiences and supervision of students with disabilities; assists students to develop the skills, attitudes,
and knowledge to meet the Core Curriculum Standards as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), by using approved curricula and directives of the school; works collaboratively with staff members,
particularly the Child Study Team, and with the parents; performs related duties as requested.
Requirements: Secondary Positions: NJ Content area certification with Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped. Elementary Positions: NJ Teacher of Elementary (K-8 or P-3) and Teacher
of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped. Note: Certification shall dictate grade level assignment. Duties: Reports to the Special Education Director; evaluates, classifies, and
recommends programs for pupils; serves as a member of the Child
Study Team and educational consultant to teachers, principals and
parents; administers educational and perceptual testing to all referrals
and as recommended for an evaluation plan in re-evaluations; addresses
assigned extra-duty cases in addition to daily contractual duties; related
duties as assigned.
Requirements: New Jersey Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant certification.
Teaching experience. Strong communication and technology skills.
