Postdoctoral Position in Population Health Sciences for Scientists from Underprivileged Backgrounds

The Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics (DBEI) at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a mentored postdoc position in population health sciences for scientists coming from underprivileged backgrounds.

We are seeking trainees who have experience in the following areas of research: causal inference, health disparities, implementation science, cancer epidemiology, pediatric epidemiology, climate change epidemiology, biostatistical and informatics method development in population health sciences.

Position duration: The initial appointment will be 12 months, with additional 12-24 months available depending on funding and performance.


Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, M.D.'s with appropriate research training are also encouraged to apply.
