The UMKC program graduated its first class in 1954 and is the only program in Missouri to award a Baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene. Our graduates can function effectively as oral health care professionals working with individuals in all ages and stages of life in a constantly changing society. Graduates are prepared to use problem-solving skills to plan, implement and evaluate dental hygiene care of diverse populations while working in a variety of settings – including clinical practice, education, public health, hospital dental programs and public-school dental programs
Job Description
The School of Dentistry is seeking an adjunct facutly member for the division of Dental Hygiene. This position is a non-benefit eligible, non-tenture track Adjunct Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Clinical Instruction, supervision, and evaluation of dental hygiene students in either first or second year clinic.
- Bachelors Degree is required
- Eligiblity for Missouri dental hygiene licensure is required
A Master's Degree in Dental Hygiene is preferred.
