Job Summary

Community engaged substance use disorder focused research project is looking for a responsible, conscientious, Research Analyst to work in local health departments in central and Eastern Kentucky on an HIV prevention study.

The duties of this position will include coordination and running of research protocol sessions with study participants, collecting physiological and behavioral data, participant recruitment; quality assurance, overseeing research participant payments, supplies and record keeping; preparing data for presentation and publication; assisting in the preparation of progress reports, papers, and grant applications

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

A successful candidate will have strong empathy skills and work ethic, possess a high level of integrity, as well as an appreciation and respect for people impacted by substance use disorder. Prefer State Certification in HIV testing and Counseling. Can be obtained post-hiring. Driver's license preferred.
