Physical Requirements

This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; stand up desks are available, intermittently performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Shift

Day-shift, 6:30pm – 7:00am; weekends & some holidays required.

Job Summary

The Patient Services Coordinator works closely with the House Operations Administrators to allocate staff throughout the enterprise. Duties include: entering employee schedules, paycodes, answering calls from staff regarding sick call ins or tardiness, scheduling patient safety companions and per diem pool staff. Acts as a liaison to nursing departments to ensure staffing needs are met. The Patient Services Coordinator collaborates with management regarding staffing holes and coverage plans. Other duties include but not limited to Decedent affairs. Responsible for collecting information and entering it in the Decedent Disposition Documentation.

A high school diploma or above and at least five full years of paid employment experience in a healthcare-related administrative position.
