Job Summary
Oversight of the entire Enterprise Revenue Partner Team including both direct and indirect supervision. Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and operating a structure of centralized/consolidated activities for back end revenue cycle including the functions of data analytics, financial analysis, charge capture and posting as it relates to ERP functions. Manages assigned areas of responsibility to provide safe, effective, and appropriate care in a fiscally responsible manner through direction, support and development of staff, and collaboration with other department leaders.
This position works to appropriately integrate operations, facilitate best practices, achieve efficiencies, and align with UKHC's strategic plan while maintaining quality standards and ensuring the department is operating within rules and regulations of UKHC, State and Federal laws and regulations. This position manages the relationship among clinical operations, hospital, College of Medicine, revenue management, and finance to deliver value and drive alignment for clinical and corporate-wide strategic imperatives; acts as liaison between revenue cycle, clinical, and executive teams to provide business and financial support and insight.
This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.
