The physical requirements of this position include lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to and exceeding 50 lbs; risk of injury from handling equipment and materials; exposure to radiation and bloodborne/airborne pathogens; and risk of cuts/punctures.

Primarily Monday – Friday, day shift; will include call.
Job Summary
The department of Nuclear Medicine is seeking an NM & MI Technologist Lead. The person in this position is required to meet all Job Responsibilities of a regular Nuclear Medicine Technologist, as well as additional duties in a peer leadership capacity to facilitate operations.
Leadership duties include, performing QA; directing resources throughout the day; ensuring compliance for policies and procedures in daily operations; working with manager to implement process changes, quality improvement initiatives and ACR accreditation process; serving as a resource for Radiology faculty and research coordinators; and other duties as assigned.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Leadership skills, critical thinking, time management, attention to detail, high-touch patient experience, maintain composure in high stress environment, excellent communicator, flexible, ability to work in a teaching environment, managing competing priorities, radiation safety, and knowledge of Nuclear Medicine image quality and production.
