Physical Requirements
This position will require regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods performing repetitive motion, occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs and lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs. Occasional (<10% of the time) job related travel will be required.
Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with some extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends per business needs.
Job Summary
This position will oversee three major functions. Disaster Recover, the 247 systems operations center, and clinical engineering.
This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Contract management, hospital operations, joint commission standards, clinical engineering practices, disaster recovery, broad knowledge of the technology stack (storage, networking, compute), cloud concepts, IT monitoring applications (ServiceNow, Splunk, SCOM, etc.), Automation.

Preferred Education/Experience
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, and/or Health Administration preferred.
