Shift

The shift for this position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with some evening, nights, and weekends required per business needs. This position is Hybrid.

Job Summary

Business Intelligence Developer Principal will be responsible for identification, design and coordination of system operating and system analytics requirements. This role will develop and maintain reports based on reporting inventory, conduct report rationalization, and ensure reports meet specifications as outlined. The analyst principal will also work closely with PACE, cross-functional and data warehouse teams to ensure integration of reporting strategy. This analyst principal will also demonstrate leadership within the Business Intelligence team and collaborate with partners to monitor the rationalization from the current to future state. The Business Intelligence Analyst Principal will be responsible for executing the system development life cycle ( SDLC) of a new electronic health record. This includes but is not limited to, conducting the EHR system build, system configuration, and support the workflow design. This role will develop and maintain documentation in accordance with service management standards, policies, and procedures of the business. The analyst principal will ensure system design requirements and documentation is synchronized with workflow changes. This role will actively participate in all phases and activities related to their scope of work within the SDLC. This role will execute a quality management plan tailored to the specific area of responsibility. This role will participate in operational and integrated workgroups to assess user feedback, gather requirements for configuration, and review / audit system build. The analyst principal will meet regularly with team members and project leadership to discuss the status of deliverables, issues, change communications and updates. Analyst principals will conduct peer review of the work product and troubleshoot problems and questions to maintain a defect-free environment. This role will collaborate with end-users, vendor representatives, project leadership, and other teams to ensure the design, build, and implementation is successful and meets the needs of the business.

This is a hybrid position.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Qualified candidates must have demonstrated experience in decision support, data analysis methodologies such as statistical analysis and/or data modeling and data exploration and visualization. This individual must have knowledge of project management methodologies and practices as well as leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Analytics, Business Intelligence and Reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SSRS, etc. as well as an understanding of analysis of structured and unstructured data and of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL. Must be a customer focused, determined leader who possesses strong facilitation, presentation, conflict management, problem solving and communications skills.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Administration and/or Healthcare preferred. Preferred experience in health care discipline, information technology, and/or related field.
