Job Summary
UK Alumni Engagement is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator Senior. This position will provide leadership and management in carrying out the association's programs, events, and activities to engage alumni through local alumni clubs, special interest constituent groups, regional events, alumni career services, and other initiatives as appropriate. These programs, events and activities attempt to meet the interests of alumni in staying connected to the university and building alumni support for the university. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the association's diversity, belonging & inclusion initiatives, and programming in coordination with the university's strategic priorities and appropriate campus partners. This position will serve as a staff liaison to the Engagement & Diversity Committee and Leadership Advisory Council in support of the Association's strategic goals and priorities.
The successful candidate must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, be flexible and adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Microsoft Office, event planning, creativity, correspondence, marketing, organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, education, or related field with related experience.
Five years' experience working in higher education setting in working with volunteers, planning and implementing programs, events and activities, preferred.
