Physical Requirements
This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Job Summary
This position will provide administrative support for the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department Operations Director and will serve as the first point of contact for the reporting departments.
The Administrative Support Associate I will be responsible for tasks including the coordination of Non-invasive educational seminars/workshops; assisting with the development of educational and marketing materials; maintaining management calendars; scheduling/preparing/organizing internal and external meetings, business trips, and travel arrangements; developing forms and reports used to document, track, and report continuing Non-invasive activities; composing and distributing outgoing departmental correspondence (i.e., memos, forms, reports, etc.); performing various data entry functions; maintaining departmental records, manuals, etc.; and taking minutes at departmental meetings.
This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ( CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.
