Physical Requirements
This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and performing tasks with repetitive motions. Also involves occasional exposure to risk of burns and cuts/punctures.
Shift
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required in order to meet business needs.
Job Summary
This position supports the responsibilities of the Strategic Operations Team which includes work to coordinate the integration with operations and supporting work teams. Required to work closely with the Hospital Administration Managers to help achieve enterprise mission and goals. This position will serve as the administrative lead for Cardiovascular services. This role will coordinate the day-to-day operations for these service areas within nursing. This includes: typing correspondence for Patient Care Managers, maintenance/repair needs of the facility, will act as a liaison for leadership with EVS and PPD, schedule meetings, maintain calendars, coordinate purchasing needs for the service areas, and update TJC and Nursing Excellence bulletin boards.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect.

Preferred Education/Experience
Four years of previous administrative support experience preferred.
