Physician – Hospitalist

Among the duties include: Diagnose, treat and provide continuous care to hospital inpatients; Prescribe medications or treatment regimens to hospital inpatients; Order or interpret the results of tests such as laboratory tests and x-rays for hospital inpatients; Manage and coordinate hospital patient care throughout treatment for hospital inpatients. Among the requirements are: Doctor of Medicine Degree or Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Certification; Completion of 36 months of Medical Residency Training in Internal Medicine; Board qualified based on completion of 36-month Medical Residency Training in Internal Medicine or Board Certified by American Board of Internal Medicine; Current License to Practice Medicine in Hawaii.
