IT Analyst
Salary range $60,657 – $75,821, DOQ. Excellent benefits package. Application review begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Responsibilities: Principle duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): managing, coordinating, developing, executing and validating report products, data extract, transformation and load processes, maintaining CMS data currency, data integration, and interface definition. Will manage, document, and maintain support ticketing in a timely manner. Will execute and validate the installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of web applications and the data-sources that support these applications. Will be responsible for creating, prototyping, and maintaining database-fed, engaging, and secure web applications. Will develop and maintain data ETL routines from various data sources to create web-consumable information. Responsible for the identification and documentation of reporting and data integration requirements. Implement tools for report and data analysis delivery. Provide appropriate user access to reporting resources. Provide analysis, design, and direction toward implementing intuitive and meaningful business intelligence tools to assist Peru State College management and administration. This position is exempt with regard to FLSA overtime provisions. This position is covered by the NSCPA negotiated agreement.
Requirements: A bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field is preferred or an associates degree with computer systems emphasis and 4 years of report and web development and administration experience. SQL experience is required. Experience writing PeopleSoft queries using PSQuery is desired. Experience developing report products through Microsoft PowerBI is desired. Experience writing reports using IBI WebFocus is highly desired. Attention to detail, analytical skills, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are required. Experience administering and developing ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration suite is desired. Excellent customer service and leadership skills desired. Prior knowledge, experience or education in the following technology is desired: HTML, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, MySQL, MS SQLServer, ASP, IIS, jQuery, XML, AWS, JSON and SEO. Knowledge of best practices and W3C standards for development of internally and externally deployed web pages highly desired.
This position is subject to veterans’ preference. This position is covered by the NSCPA bargaining unit. This position is exempt from overtime for FLSA.
