Position Summary:
MarshBerry is seeking a Total Rewards Coordinator for our Beachwood, OH office or another MarshBerry office location. The Total Rewards Coordinator's primary responsibilities will include processing payroll, benefits administration and maintaining the HRIS, UKGPro. The Total Rewards Coordinator serves as a first-line resource to employees on payroll and benefit matters, while balancing a wide variety of payroll, benefits and HRIS duties, both routine as well as project-based.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares, audits, and reconciles the semi-monthly payroll, which requires accurate and compliant work to be done on an immovable deadline. Processes off-cycle payrolls including bonuses and other special payrolls.
- Assists with benefits administration including benefit enrollments, qualifying event changes and terminations. Assists with annual open enrollment process. Maintains and audits carrier feeds.
- Reconciles and balances reports or invoices from benefit providers and remits monthly billing.
- Accurately maintains and updates the HRIS, UKGPro, including employee files. Produces a variety of reports through the system both routinely and in response to audits.
- Assists employees with questions on benefits programs including retirement, health, disability, and spending accounts. Manages plan enrollments and COBRA compliance.
- Maintains Human Resources help desk and responds to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Completes benefit compliance responsibilities including benefit audits, annual testing for Workers Compensation, S125, and 401(k).
- Assists with leave administration and associated paperwork.
- Serves as back-up for other HR and accounting related responsibilities.
- Performs special events and/or projects as assigned.

Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related degrees or equivalent experience required. Human Resources designations are a plus.
- A minimum of three to five years of payroll, benefits, HRIS administration or accounting experience required. Knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations.
- Strong technology aptitude with Microsoft Office and multiple applications specifically excel, HRIS and payroll systems. Experience with UKGPro is a plus.
Other:
- Maintains confidentiality with employee information, financial data, and internal and external communication.
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy under time constraints.
- Exceptional organizational skills. Uses systematic methods to perform work and ability to recommend or create new work methods or procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks. Proven ability to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely manner.
