Job Summary
This position reports directly to the University Registrar and provides administrative and technical support to facilitate seamless registration and enrollment for all students current, future and previous. An employee in this class will provide administrative and technical support to the campus at large, including but not limited to faculty, department chairs, deans and support offices. In addition to work in these areas, the management technician will supervise all aspects of the National Student Clearinghouse including (but not limited to) troubleshooting, reporting and data collection. Work requires that employee will provide support for multiple campus committees. This role will include assisting the University Registrar with registrar calendar, meeting schedules, travel, budgeting, university calendars, sourcepoint requisitions (bills/supplies), subpoenas/records requests and regoffice calendars. Further, the technician will become the secondary backup for the campus certifying officer for all Veterans affairs students. Employee will coordinate with other office members to hire and supervise all work study students in the Registrar's office. Employee will be primary person responsible for receiving, analyzing and responding to the regoffice email box. Responsible for processing name and address changes, preferred name change requests, FERPA and verification of enrollment requests. This person will be backup to the phones and front counter clerk.
