Job Summary
This position acts as the single point of contact for the campus community in providing customer service for all key, lock, and card access related functions in Facilities. The incumbent has overall responsibility for the day-to-day administrative functions of this specific program area. Program functions include key and lock control, electronic card access management, work order processing, and reporting.
The Key Control Card Access Specialist administrates and monitors policy compliance for Facilities relative to the campus Key and Lock Policy and Decentralized Electronic Card Access policies. The incumbent monitors compliance of rules and processes related to the physical security of the passive campus security systems and provides added support of implementation and expansion of new door access startup projects and systems.

The anticipated starting salary is based on the current applicable CBA or Management pay scale, depending on the job classification.

Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which includes the collection, reporting, compilation, and presentation of relevant program data related information OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Two years of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
- Two years of experience in electronic record-keeping or accounting operations.
- One year or more of proficiency working in different software applications.
- Demonstrated competency in written communication.
- Prior work experience in the locksmith or electronic access controls industry.
- Associates Degree in Business, Analytics, Public Administration, or similar relevant degree program.
- Prior work experience in Higher Education
- Prior work experience in a Facilities setting.
- Prior experience working with a computerized maintenance management system(s).
- Prior work experience reading/reviewing blueprints, technical schematics, or related specifications.
- Prior work experience developing standard operating procedures or writing policy documents.
