Job Summary
Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications for part-time/temporary faculty as a Mathematics Instructor in the Mathematics, Natural and Social Sciences Department. Courses may be offered in-person, remotely, or online based upon course content. Please note that this is an adjunct pool.
Job Duties:
• Provide in-person, remotely, or online learner-centered instruction in the discipline.
• Provide instruction to students in both theory and practice.
• Maintenance and care of classrooms and training materials.
• Keep abreast of changes in the respective field and help keep the program updated.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Mathematics (or related field) plus 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience teaching online, in-person, or hybrid courses is preferred.
• Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
