Job Summary
Supports the mission of the college by using a variety of media to communicate effectively to many different publics including press, general public, civic leaders and organizations and elected officials. Manages Alumni relations. Supports the advancement efforts of the college.
Job Duties:
-Plans, writes and distributes press releases, speeches and presentations to promote the college
-Develops and manages relationships with all news media.
-Directs the college alumni relations program and builds a culture of alumni pride and engagement.
-Handles weather related and crisis communications in conjunction with KCTCS.
-Develop plan and manage photography for college events.
-Serves as Legislative Liaison for the college.
-Coordinates community organization memberships and attendance.
-Attends Marketing and PR at large peer team meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field) and
4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)
Additional Skills Requested:
