Gannett is looking for a talented customer care Advisor to join our team. The right person will enjoy interacting with new and existing customers primarily via Chatbotplatformas well as telephonically and in written formats; assistingcustomers with self-serve navigation and ad placement including but not limited to classified liners, Celebrations and In Memoriams; in Adpointand iPublish. This role offers a unique opportunity for the right person to work in an evolving and fast-paced environment while getting exposure to a broad range of sales activities.
What will you do?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This position will be primarily working with new and existing customers. Administrate the chatbot platform; Assist with building and managing the chatbot script and recommend changes based on customer needs through their experience. Respond to high volume of emails from customers; interact with clients via phone and email to achieve ad order placement requests primarily via self-serve Provide superior customer service through quality assurance calls to increase sales opportunities. Aptitude to transition easily between different communication mediums. Ability to maintain a consistent work ethic and be resilient in a fast-paced environment; managing incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and working with internal partners to ensure work is publishable. Work independently at times and in a collaborative team environment to drive revenue Participate actively in engagement activities and other elements of our culture, to help drive additional sales and revenue.
What you bring to the table:
Experience in high volume queue-based sales environment is required. Media Sales a plus
Experience in using web-based programs/apps, ad ordering platform, Salesforce. Self-driven tendencies highly desired Ability to effectively (oral and written) communicate clearly and concisely to both internal/external colleagues and consumers Ability to identify trouble-shoot, process challenges that cause publishable and revenue compromises Highly organized - ability to work within a multi-deadline-oriented environment. Dependability a MUST Virtual work environment with the potential to have access to nation-wide satellite locations, if required.
