Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Coordinator for Violence Prevention coordinates and facilitates violence prevention-based programming for EKU faculty, staff, and students. The Coordinator will create and implement initiatives that promote healthy interpersonal relationships and raise awareness about interpersonal and domestic violence, including intervention and prevention strategies. This person will sustain meaningful and intentional engagement with students and will collaborate with student leaders to advance violence prevention initiatives on campus. The Coordinator will connect EKU students to local and national advocacy resources that support students experiencing interpersonal and domestic violence. The Coordinator will connect with campus and community partners to provide robust violence prevention and intervention programming and resources. The Coordinator will collaborate with partners across campus to ensure all training compliance and metrics are met and will oversee the successful completion of all university requirements related to violence prevention and education. Finally, the coordinator will perform operational duties for the success of violence prevention initiatives, including communications, data management and analysis, scheduling, organization, and coordinating of activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.
Experience: Minimum of one year of work experience in higher education, business, customer service, administration or related field is required.

Job Duties:
- 50% - Develop, coordinate and facilitate violence prevention and intervention programming and educational efforts for University students, faculty and staff. Maintain excellent public relations with internal and external constituents and create professional and accurate reports, presentations, and documents. - ()
- 20% - Create and implement campus-wide programming to support a campus culture of interpersonal violence awareness and violence prevention. Create, plan, and implement additional trainings to all athletics staff and student-athletes, in coordination with supervisory athletics staff, as part of compliance with the NCAA. - ()
- 20% - Connect with campus and community partners to provide support to students who have or are experiencing sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. - ()
- 5% - Manage attendance, assessment, and data tracking for violence prevention trainings and initiatives. - ()
- 5% - Student staff supervision. Other details as assigned. - ()
